Cameron and Damien Barrett are 32-year old identical twin brothers who live in Brooklyn, NY. Both work in the technology field, both met their girlfriends online and both have been blogging since 1998 or earlier.

The picture to the right was taken when they were 9 years old, in American Samoa in the South Pacific, where they lived with their family for more than two years in the 1980s.

Cameron and Damien have lived in the following places: California, South Dakota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Wyoming (Yellowstone National Park), Illinois, Northern England, American Samoa (Pago Pago), Arkansas, Washington D.C., Brooklyn and New York City.

About Cameron Barrett

Cameron has been blogging since June of 1997, when he created a site called CamWorld to support a college class he was teaching about new media design. Eight years later, he's still at it, continuing to pioneer and lead the world of blogging. In 1999, he wrote the first essay about weblogs called "Anatomy of a Weblog" and in 2003/2004 he went to work for the Wesley Clark and John Kerry campaigns to help them understand how to use blogs and online community within their political organizations.

A strong advocate for open source software, Cameron has worked for one of the leading open source development companies in the world. For the past 4 years he has been working as a consultant, helping companies and non-profits understand how to use blogs and online community. His newest consultancy is called BlogCorp.

Travel: Russia: Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk; Malta, England, Toronto, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, Florida, and numerous points in between.

Languages: Some Russian, French, Samoan and Japanese. Fluent in English, HTML, CSS and Javascript.

About Damien Barrett

Damien lives in Brooklyn, NY and works as a Macintosh specialist for a major university in Manhattan. After graduating college, Damien worked as a public school teacher for 3 years before moving to NYC to work as a computer specialist. He loves solving technical and computer problems and enjoys helping people be more productive with their computers.

Damien is a leading voice in the Macintosh technical support community. He holds several technical Apple certifications including Certified Apple Trainer and Apple Certified Technical Co-ordinator, and he actively answers calls for help at a number of technical support boards on the web, including those at MacWorld. He blogs regularly at MrBarrett.com, a personal and technical weblog he's been running since August, 1999.
